Meghan & Thomas’ day was a true dream come true. Both bride and groom love to get lost in the worlds where magic exists and fairytale creatures come alive. From hobbits to fairies, these two had the true elegant wedding with the magical touches that made it truly unique to them.
Nestled on Meghan’s Aunt’s property was an old, run down gazebo. Meghan & Thom had their hearts set on getting married at that location. They spent all summer creating their perfect backdrop to say “I Do” and every ounce of love they poured into it showed on Saturday. Within walking distance, the tent for the evening’s festivities was pitched and the dance floor was laid. Donning the tables were a mixture of homemade fairy houses, created by Meghan herself, and lanterns surrounded by candles.
Getting to know Thomas and Meghan this year has been an absolute treasure. They are the most down to earth couple. As soon as the greetings are over, you’re already one of the family and I felt like that from day one. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day so beautifully.
Meghan & Thom had their first look back in the woods where they would meet up in high school to look at the stars. Thomas and their dog, Thunder, waited impatiently as their bride walked up to surprise them! Once the first look excitement had died down, they did something that I honestly think everyone should do. They had their own 5 minute private ceremony to acknowledge their valleys and peaks that they have journeyed on together and leaving it behind to unite as one. This gave them the opportunity to write their own vows and say them here, while also having the more traditional vows during their full ceremony. My heart and eyes were swelling with love and joy to have gotten to witness this most sacred time together.
