I have known Maggie for years and years. Not only just in high school together, but we were on athletic teams together such as track and cheerleading. I’ve loved getting to catch up with her and meet her beau, Andy, through this wedding planning from the photography aspect.
I am a story teller, so of course, I had to ask where they first met. Maggie said her first date with Andy was at Klavon’s Pizza, here in Jackson on M-50. In our planning process, we thought it would be great to include a pizza or a date AT Klavon’s! It was in the wee hours of the morning, so I think the exhaustion and boredom at work (she works the night shift at a care facility) was the reason for our off the wall idea about actually including pizza into their session. Maggie took it a step further and had ordered pizza innuendo T-shirts! I had no idea until I received a message saying, “They arrived!” ??? What arrived? I literally laughed out loud when she sent me the photo of their shirts. This just got awesome.
The morning of our session, chatting about the final details for ordering the pizza, I randomly suggested to check with Klavon’s about forming the pepperoni into a heart shape on the pizza pie. Little did we know, her mom loved the idea and called to check!
Even half way through our session, Andy still didn’t have a clue as to what was going on. Maggie dressed up the shirts as a cute little gift he had to open and a smile erupted from his face. We popped open some bubbly and downed pizza for the next 30 minutes. Best. Session. Ever. Of course, we also made sure to get some nice images too!!!
Check out all the fun we had below! And if that pizza looks good enough to eat and you’re in Jackson/Vandercook, check out www.klavons.com to order your own!!!
