Katrina and Greg are the couple you just know you’ll be great friends with before even officially meeting them. At least, that’s how I felt during our first meeting together! To prove my point further, instead of proposing in seclusion, Greg set up his entire proposal disguised as a yard game day/ house warming party just to make sure Katrina would have her friends and family around for the big moment! The grand prize was of course, Greg popping the big question with the gorgeous ring as the trophy.
Greg and Katrina were married at The Pointe Bar and Grille in Clark Lake, Michigan with the lake as the beautiful backdrop. Though the skies were gray most of the day, it made for stunningly soft even light through the ceremony and into the window-filled reception room. Family and friends celebrated in their unity. Katrina’s mother had passed away, however she still held a prominent place in the day and in their hearts in speeches and in heirlooms.
I’m so thankful for the time I had to be a part of this amazing day. Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Stevenson!
Katrina and Greg opted for a first look to help the flow of the day and to capture as many portraits before the ceremony and reception as we could to keep everything running smoothly. I just LOVE their reactions!
