Oops - totally didn’t mean to be absent in my po Oops - totally didn’t mean to be absent in my posts for so long. Kept a slow pace over the last week since being in the ER. I have a handful of sessions to get edited, and then I’m continuing my house P-U-R-G-E! I feel 95% back to normal and I’m ready to do some slow-season cleaning! Any other photographers with me?! 🤣
In the wee hours of the morning, I officially deli In the wee hours of the morning, I officially delivered Danielle & Tyler’s wedding, closing out my 2020 wedding season! What a season it has been. Especially the last two months - three holidays and my birthday thrown in, add in 100% virtual learning for Evie for six weeks straight, and toss in an ER visit makes it the perfect recipe to go mad trying to accomplish all the things. 🤣 Taking this weekend to chill out and give my house some love and attention that I’ve been neglecting to give it the last 4 months! Have a great weekend and see ya’ll Monday!
✨Attention #classof2022 seniors! ✨ I am ALREAD ✨Attention #classof2022 seniors! ✨ I am ALREADY booking into summer for senior portrait sessions. I have 8 weddings between September and October this year, which means I can’t squeeze in as many sessions as I did last year into my fall calendar. So if you are looking to book, I recommend either getting on the books early or booking earlier in the year! May, June, and July are filling up and I can’t wait to work with you! Let’s showcase your obsessions, interests, future career or college. I’m here for it all!
Hey hey, happy Saturday! Came across this snapshot Hey hey, happy Saturday! Came across this snapshot of myself from #crystalmountain with the gorgeous #mtrainier in the background. I was photographing my friend @felicias_wanderlust ‘s wedding and it was hands down a top highlight of my 2020. This year I’m so blessed to go back to Seattle for another wedding, and I just booked a wedding today in Gatlinburg! 🙌 But enough about me, I wanted to share 5 tips for brides to help in their wedding planning process!

1. If you’ve just gotten engaged, count your guest list FIRST! It will help eliminate venues that are too small or too large to accommodate your guest list. You don’t want to fall in love with a venue and book only to realize 1/2 your guest list won’t fit.
2. Double check your vendors have contracts in place, are insured, and have backup plans! That is both to protect you and their own businesses. I am licensed and insured, and work with multiple camera bodies that have dual card slots so I’m instantly creating a backup of images, and then back up to multiple external hard drives once home.
3. Get the big things checked off first that book up quick! Venues, photo/video, food, and DJ are most frequently at the top of that list and makeup artists are quickly snagged too! Then you can take a breath and then dive into the smaller things like decor and sun stuff like the showers and parties!
4. Have your photographer help with planning out the timeline of the day! We want to make sure you maximize your time with us, as well as help your day run as efficiently as possible. We’ve seen a wedding or two and we know how to help you make the most of your day.
5. Take a deep breath and ENJOY this process! I know the current state of the world has couples stressed, but weddings are still about two people who love each other deeply, creating magic. Congratulations, wedding couples! PS - I’ve still got ONE spot remaining for a totally rad 2021 couple. Let me know if you want to work together!
